FROM COLORADO
Loveland was buried under 2 feet of snow
last week which kept the boys home from school for 4 glorious days.
However, the unexpected holiday gave them time to work on their science
projects:
Kevin - Research & demontrate how CDs work. (The
musical/data kind of CDs).
Brendan will demonstrate heat conduction and how it varies
between dark subjects and bright subjects.
Caleb's project investigates oxidation.
Uncle Liam and
Aunt Carmen flew to Washington D.C. last week to attend a black tie dinner
for the Goddard Awards. This year's award was given to the lost crew
of the Shuttle.
Next Saturday the whole family will fly to Costa Rica for 10 days' visit
with Aunt Carmen's family. How exciting!

From Victorville
Erin earned another A in her
English course and is burning the midnight oil on German and the rest of
her schedule. She's currently concentrating on finding part time work
near home by blanketing the retail and service stores with applications
and followups.
Brenna and Dylan are flying to Sacramento next Saturday to spend a week
with their Dad in Oroville. They're hoping for good weather so they
can go horse back riding and frog hunting.
Their Mom is enjoying a full month off track. |

Mike S. is going to a month long wrestling camp at
the University of Minnesota this summer. He'll live and eat on campus
and work out every day as he sharpens his techniques and builds strength.
He's going to have a terrific next year.
His Mom, Kathy, has been accepted into the prestigous La Jolla Art Association,
the oldest such organization in California, founded in 1918.
Affiliation with the LJAA makes her eligible for showing
her work in a wide range of musems and galleries.
Father Mike continues to rack up sales records and
recently sold a Mustang over the Internet to a customer in Europe.
Loris and Carlin are looking forward to becoming
parents next month and delivering another great grand child into the family.
